A Surprising Queer Hotspot Will Host Upcoming Olympics

Pride in the mountains, I mean come on 😍

It was recently announced that Salt Lake City will host the 2034 Winter Olympics (albeit under questionable circumstances) — and in light of the current Olympics being heralded as the “Gayest Olympics Ever,” with at least 193 out LGBTQ+ Olympians and counting (an upward trend that’s expected to continue) we thought it would be a good time to highlight one of our favorite emerging gay travel destinations.

We recently named Salt Lake City one of our Top 15 Up-and-Coming Destinations for LGBTQ+ Travelers, and not just because of its stunning mountain backdrop and vibrant culture. It’s not just for Mormons anymore - it’s truly a welcoming hotspot for LGBTQ+ travelers. We’ve put together a quick guide to Salt Lake City’s gay neighborhoods, bars, restaurants, and more.

Q&A Time:

In one of our most contentious polls ever, last week we asked, would you ever go on vacation with an ex? Here are the results:

Justin said: "The trip was planned and fully paid before we broke up. It was a bit awkward at times, but we made the best of it.”

Nick would consider it: "Ex’s can still be good friends. So as long as you still have good relations. Why not go on vacation with them”

It’s a no from Roelz: "Like one famous woman once said in an Interview: ‘I don't like to read my books backwards’ 😉"

This week, we want to know the most overrated place you’ve been to. Have you ever been somewhere you thought was totally overrated? Tell us where after voting!
