Puerto Vallarta Pride Celebrates Its 10th Year

Mantamar has never actually been this empty
Between Carnival winding down and Sydney Mardi Gras just getting started—we need something to look forward to, stat. One of the earlier pride celebrations goes down in Puerto Vallarta at the end of May and, now in its 10th year—it can’t come soon enough. PV Pride is Memorial Day weekend from Wednesday, May 22 to Sunday, May 26.
Ten years in, it’s a relatively new pride, but they’ve worked overtime to grow this event into one of the world’s best. Pool parties, beach parties, boat parties (yes, that one is still kicking), the pride march itself, and over 20 gay nightlife spots, all within walking distance of each other. The party in PV quite literally never stops—and that’s especially true during pride. It’s one of the largest in Latin America where the afters continue until well after the clubs open again.
But it’s more than just a party. There’s also a shockingly wide array of cultural events catering to all kinds: art, film, history, fashion, and activism all meld into a truly special week. The Drag Derby is a fabulous combination of drag show and obstacle course that can’t be missed.
Plus, Zona Romántica is one of the safest travel destinations for LGBTQ+ visitors, and just last year The Times named it as the number one spot to celebrate pride.
Baby’s First Throuples Package!

Now we’re talking
As if finding one partner wasn’t hard enough: a hotel in Key West just launched a curated package for throuples (and no, it’s not Island House). We haven’t been able to find anything else like it, so we’re calling this “the first of its kind.”
Key West has been one of the top gay destinations for decades, and, unlike Florida at large, it remains a welcoming destination for queer travelers. Pair that with the rise in ~throuple discourse~ and Peacock’s (amazing) new reality dating series ‘Couple to Throuple’—and here we are.
All through February, Havana Cabana is inviting your triad to enjoy Key West with their ‘Hot in Havana’ package, which includes:
20% off a minimum 2 nights stay
A room with 2 connected queen-sized beds (!)
$50 in dining credit + $25 voucher in the lobby market
A bottle of champagne plus romantic rose petals, a tote, and ~intimate accessories~ (no idea what this means)
According to Frontiers in Psychology, 1 in 6 people want to engage in polyamory, and 1 in 9 already have. So it’s only a matter of time 🤪

Now imagine these beds pushed together!
Throuple or not, our tip: Key West has its own airport - but the drive down the Overseas Highway connecting the Florida Keys is one of the most scenic drives in America, and unlike anything else.

I mean… drive it while you still can
